About your role
Lead coordination of Power BI and GitHub enablement within a complex business-IT ecosystem. This is primarily an engagement and delivery leadership role, supported by sufficient technical depth to challenge plans, manage dependencies and communicate credibly with architects and engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Establish effective relationships with senior business, IT, architecture, security and delivery stakeholders.
- Maintain alignment on outcomes, priorities, scope, timeline, resources, budget and acceptance criteria.
- Provide concise, evidence-based reporting on delivery status, risks, dependencies, decisions and expected outcomes.
- Coordinate GitHub Enterprise enablement, including repository setup, access, governance, branching, pull requests, GitHub Actions, CI/CD and reusable standards.
- Coordinate Power BI work covering semantic models, workspace governance, deployment, security, report rationalisation and platform adoption.
- Manage the detailed plan for proof of value, infrastructure setup, validation, rollout preparation, user guidance and go/no-go decision.
- Drive risk, issue, dependency, decision and action management across multiple teams.
- Facilitate workshops, governance forums and executive steering discussions.
Requirements
Mandatory experience and skills
- Senior technical programme/project management experience in data, analytics or BI environments.
- Delivered programmes involving Power BI and GitHub/DevOps capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder, governance, planning, RAID and executive-communication skills.
- Sufficient technical understanding of repositories, branching, CI/CD, Power BI workspaces and deployment to coordinate specialists effectively.
Preferred / advantageous experience
- PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe or equivalent credential.
- Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake or broader data-platform experience.
- Consumer Packaged Goods or multinational enterprise experience.
