• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.

• Minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.

• Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise software.

• Proven experience managing IT budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with cloud computing, digital transformation, and modern enterprise technologies.

• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.

• Professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or similar) are a strong advantage.

ESC is seeking a highly experienced and visionary IT Director to lead our information technology strategy and operations. Based in New Cairo, the IT Director will oversee all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure, security, systems, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, ensure service reliability, and align technology with ESC’s overall business goals.

• Develop and implement IT strategies in alignment with ESC’s business objectives.

• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and systems.

• Lead and mentor the IT team, ensuring high performance and continuous growth.

• Ensure data integrity, cybersecurity, and compliance with relevant regulations.

• Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and technology partners.

• Monitor emerging technologies and recommend innovations that improve efficiency or provide competitive advantage.

• Manage IT budgets, forecasting, and procurement processes.

• Drive the planning and execution of digital transformation and automation projects.

• Establish policies and procedures that promote secure, scalable, and resilient IT operations.

• Collaborate with other departments to support their technology needs and enhance productivity.

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure: networks (LAN/WAN), firewalls, switches, and VPNs

• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Proficiency in managing enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRMS)

• Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, threat management, and data protection protocols

• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)

• Familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Hands-on knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL), data integration, and backup solutions

• Knowledge of system administration for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments

• Ability to lead software and infrastructure audits, risk assessments, and compliance processes

• Exposure to business intelligence (BI) tools and analytics platforms is a plus

• Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and a deep understanding of modern IT practices.

• Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-scale IT projects and teams.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive change.

• Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
