The IT Director of Supply Chain and Logistics Systems will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of technology solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of supply chain processes and the ability to leverage technology to drive improvements.
What You'll be Doing:
- Develop and execute a technology strategy for the supply chain that aligns with the overall business objectives.
- Lead the implementation of supply chain technology solutions, including warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, and manufacturing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and IT, to identify and address technology needs.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
- Ensure the security and integrity of supply chain data and systems.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of supply chain systems and implement improvements as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in supply chain management and logistics.
- Facilitation and management of ITS Supply Chain budget.
- Foster urgency and transparency of priority issues across the Supply Chain areas.
What You Bring with You (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within IT, specifically in supply chain and logistics systems.
- 10+ years of experience in technology.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to grow and manage high performance teams.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems preferred.
- Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools preferred.
- Experience with cloud-based supply chain solutions preferred.
