IT Director - Quality Engineering
The IT Director directs all processes, operations and teams within the Information Technology department. This job determines the Information Technology needs of an organization and is responsible for overseeing the implementation of solutions to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Directs the team in successful delivery of Information Technology services for the organization’s hardware, software and network technologies.
• Manages Information Technology teams and systems to ensure that the area's technological level up to date by overseeing the implementation of new procedures and techniques related to Information Technology.
• Oversees the selection of hardware, software and supplies needed by the team.
• Develops IT team project plans, including resourcing, schedules and budgets.
• Serves as point of accountability to business stakeholders for IT solutions/services that measurably improve business KPIs.
• Serves as a liaison and builds bridges among leadership groups within and outside of the IT field.
• Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional products and engagement, motivation, and development of team.

Educational Requirements

• University (Degree) Preferred

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance/Test Engineering
• Prior experience leading QA teams for a medium or large-sized company
• Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, API automation)
• Experience with AI-driven testing tools and generative AI test automation
• Strong background in cloud testing (AWS/Azure/GCP) and SaaS validation
• SQL/NoSQL database testing and ETL validation expertise
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Git, and automation pipelines
• Proven ability to run large-scale testing programs and lead high-performing teams
• Good understanding of automation tools (AI Based Automation tools, Selenium, Cucumber, etc..)

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, performance testing tools, and service virtualization.
• Certifications: ISTQB Advanced, Cloud Certifications, or DevOps/SRE credentials.
• Background in regulated environments (finance, healthcare, compliance-driven industries)

Key Responsibilities

Quality Engineering Leadership

• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of test automation engineers, SDETs, functional testers, and environment specialists
• Define and execute the enterprise testing strategy aligned with engineering, product, and cloud transformation objectives
• Champion continuous testing, shift‑left quality, and DevOps-integrated test practices

AI‑Driven Test Automation

• Drive adoption of advanced AI/ML-enabled testing tools for autonomous script creation, self-healing tests, predictive defect discovery, and intelligent regression selection
• Oversee the development of robust automation frameworks for UI, API, microservices, mobile, and data validation
• Ensure automation is tightly integrated into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality

Cloud, SaaS & Integration Testing

• Develop end-to-end test strategy for cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) including scalability, reliability, and failover validation
• Oversee SaaS platform testing, API validation, integration flows, and multi‑tenant architectural testing

Data & Database Testing

• Lead testing for SQL/NoSQL databases, ETL pipelines, schema changes, data quality, and data reconciliation
• Implement automated data validation frameworks and AI-based anomaly detection models

Test Data Creation & Management

• Own enterprise TDM strategy—synthetic data generation, masked production subsets, privacy-aware data provisioning
• Enable automated, on-demand test data delivery to support continuous test execution

Environment & Release Management

• Oversee orchestration of test environments using IaC, containers, and cloud-native platforms
• Ensure environment stability, consistency, version alignment, and rapid provisioning to accelerate testing cycles
