This is an opportunity to shape the future of ERP across a global organisation. You will lead our ERP Solution Centre of Excellence, helping Smith+Nephew optimise today’s platforms while preparing for the strategic transition to SAP S/4HANA.

What will you be doing?
As our ERP Solution CoE Leader, you will set the direction for ERP strategy, business process architecture, solution governance and functional delivery across the enterprise.
You will work closely with business process owners and senior technology leaders to simplify and harmonise end to end processes, translate business priorities into integrated solution roadmaps and establish global standards that deliver sustainable value.
Leading a global team of SAP and Axapta functional consultants, solution architects and domain experts, you will build the capabilities, partnerships and governance needed for long term success. You will also lead the ERP Functional Design Authority, guide investment and design decisions, and ensure that solutions align with architecture, security, data, integration, controls, validation and regulatory standards.
As a trusted adviser to senior business and IT stakeholders, you will bring clarity to complex choices, resolve competing priorities and help the organisation use automation, analytics, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to support transformation and growth.
What will you need to be successful?
Success in this role will come from combining deep ERP expertise with strong commercial judgement, inclusive leadership and the ability to turn enterprise strategy into practical outcomes.
• More than 15 years of IT and ERP experience, ideally within MedTech or a related industry, including significant experience in SAP functional, solution or business process leadership
• Experience leading SAP programmes, portfolios or Centres of Excellence, with participation in at least two complete ERP implementations or transformation programmes. SAP S/4HANA transformation experience is preferred.
• Broad knowledge across SAP domains which could include: Sales and Distribution, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics and Finance, supported by a strong understanding of architecture, governance, security and regulatory frameworks
• A proven ability to lead global teams, develop talent, manage strategic partners and influence senior stakeholders on investment priorities, risks and enterprise wide decisions
