IT Development Project Manager
Job Overview
The IT Development Manager (Azure) is critical to Loss Prevention Services, LLC’s exciting progress in furthering their position as the technology leader in the Repossession industry. Loss Prevention Services, LLC has developed a modern, cloud-native, event-based design application to automate it’s business processes. The person in this role will serve as the point of contact for the programmers, subcontractors and upper management. You will work as a project manager scheduling and delegating tasks required to successfully complete the company's initiatives. A development manager will work with all stakeholders to establish project milestones and work to complete projects effectively and within the budget.
Responsibilities for IT Development Manager
- Analyze and create project scope and milestones for software development projects
- Schedule and delegate tasks required
- Maintain project timeframes, budgeting and status reports
- Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities
- Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
- Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
- Conduct risk assessments for projects
- Manage the handling and assigning of daily tasks within the IT development department
- Hold regular meetings with required departments and executive leadership to ensure open communication and expectations throughout a project
- Address concerns and propose solutions in reference to software bugs and corrections
- Actively seek to resolve any concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior
- Ensure proper communication concerning changes in established milestones or challenges that may affect the outcome of a project's completion date
- Communicate and organize with team members to increase the company's programming initiatives
- Organizing meeting to discuss project goals and progress
Qualifications for Development Manager
- 5 years experience designing and organizing development project plans
- Extensive knowledge of management theory and practical applications in the workplace
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments
- Strong understanding of business goals and standards
- PMP certification
- Six sigma preferred
- Working knowledge of .Net and Azure technologies
- Proficient using Microsoft Suite and other data entry software
- Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple company initiatives and encourage coworkers to do the same
