Robert Bosch LLC seeks IT Development Lead, Sr (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 1800 W. Central Road, Mount Prospect, IL 60056. Utilize SAP FI across relevant SAP modules such as SAP Finance and Tax, SAP Sales and Distribution, SAP Purchasing, SAP Material Management, and SAP ABAP (coding). Lead IT solution development projects, overseeing changes in integrated products and components, and work closely with the Tax IT Solution Manager and other team members to balance delivery speed and stability, driving delivery activities for North American Tax IT Solutions throughout their lifecycle. Oversee and coordinate all technical developments of the Tax IT Solutions, primarily SAP and Vertex O-Series, to meet design requirements. Assess customer requirements from a technical perspective, provide development effort estimates, prioritize implementations based on customer needs, and lead software changes while adhering to development guidelines. Take responsibility for SAP-Vertex interface implementation and documentation with several ERP systems. Maintain a balance between standardization, customer orientation, development speed, and time-to-market. Participate in Tier 3 IT solution support activities, including incident management and the delivery of application upgrades and patches, ensuring alignment with IT security guidelines. REQS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Business Administration, or a related field. Plus 5 years of experience as a Sr. SAP VERTEX Tax Consultant, Sr. SAP Vertex Capability Consultant or occupation involving IT development within the automotive industry. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) SAP ERP with S/4 HANA, Vertex O-series, and integration between BRIM and Vertex; (2) SAP modules (sales and purchasing) and Vertex tax tools (Flex RFC AR, Vendor Recon, Flux Monitor, and Dropship tools); (3) ABPB code, multiplexing logistics, and working with Remote Functional Calls; (4) Purchasing interfaces (iBuy and Bonaparte); (5) Configuration of sales and purchase pricing procedures, with ability to define formulas for U.S. and Canadian domestic and international transactions; (6) Indirect taxation for U.S. and Canadian markets, including foreign trade, 3rd party dropship, intra-company, intercompany, and Maquiladora processes; (7) German/EU VAT scenarios and vertical/ horizontal reporting system designs; and (8) Application of Agile methodology in supporting Annual and Quarterly Business Reviews (ABRs and QBRs) and achieving Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
