A typical day includes:
- Primarily responsible for building, configuring, debugging, maintaining, performance tuning and supporting integrations to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP applications (Oracle Cloud Financials) for development, testing, QA, production, and disaster recovery
- Lead and be responsible for assuring adherence to Enterprise Software Delivery Methodology
- Deliver software in agile development process/methodologies.
- Production support of integrations and resolve production critical issues within SLA
- Conduct unit testing to ensure that the systems work as expected
- Perform technical code reviews and documentation
- Demonstrate ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
- Use modern build strategies, continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests.
- Define solutions, provide estimates on effort and risk, and evaluate technical feasibility.
- Partner with leads and architects to help establish a technical vision and deliver innovative capabilities which are consistent, maintainable, and highly scalable for various commerce experiences.
Required education, knowledge, skills and abilities
- Bachelor's degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of software development and SDLC experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- 5+ years’ experience working with enterprise scale Software Systems – OnPrem and/or Cloud
Or 2+ years’ experience working with Oracle Integration Tools (Fusion Analytics Warehouse,
ODI and OIC)
- 2+ years of Technical experience with data integrations in any cloud applications.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financial System modules - General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Asset Management
- Experience designing systems that take advantage of both SQL and NoSQL. Databases.
- Experience with designing secure systems using cyber security best practices
- Ability to work independently and with limited direction to prioritize tasks and organize workflow under narrow time limitations, and appropriately communicate changes and progress.
- Demonstrate ability to make decisions and solve problems by evaluating alternatives and proposed solutions.
Preferred:
- Finance or Insurance domain knowledge
- Experience with FAW - Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Integration tools such as ODI and OIC
- Good knowledge and/or certification on AWS Cloud Infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Restful Web Services, web applications, JSM, transactional databases, and NoSQL databases
- Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
- Presentation skills in speaking with IT Management and team members
