Position Purpose:
The Specialist – IT Desktop Support works within the Everise Information Technology team in providing all levels of IT desktop support. The Specialist works closely with and provides support to the Everise Corporate Technology team members and their customers.
Job Requirements:

Administration of Windows-based applications of basic principles, theories, and concepts
-
Administration of Exchange, remote access technologies, Microsoft Active Directory domain administration, and support, including user/policy account creation, permissions allocation, creating file and print shares

Working knowledge of Microsoft Networking principles such as DNS, WINS, DHCP

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and install and maintain hardware and computer peripherals.

Responsible for installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software and troubleshooting network connectivity issues.

Able to tackle complicated IT issues alone and cooperatively, guarantee prompt ticket resolution, and proactively monitor systems to avert possible issues.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a four-year college or university with two to four years of related experience in IT with a focus on desktop support and management or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Must have experience troubleshooting Hardware and Software related issues.

Must have experience using Active Directory.
-
Fundamental understanding and troubleshooting of Citrix Issues.

Must have experience using the ticketing tool ( SNOW )

Good fundamental Networking experience.

Substantial knowledge of Microsoft Server and a solid foundation in virtualization.

Has experience setting up users, groups, and simple
configurations for Microsoft 365. -
Fundamental understanding of IT security principles.
