The Union Health Center (UHC) is an innovative primary and multi-specialty center focused on providing well-coordinated and accessible healthcare. UHC has been providing care to New Yorkers for over one hundred years, founded by the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union (ILGWU) and the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America (ACWA). UHC was established to provide affordable and comprehensive healthcare to union members and their families and has been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a Patient Centered Medical Home since 2009. The center was built around a team-based model that integrates health coaches and serves a patient population that experiences a heavy burden of chronic disease and varying levels of health literacy. UHC maintains Primary Care PCMH recognition and is certified as an Article 28 facility.

SUMMARY
The IT Support specialist will provide technical support to UHC staff as directed by CIO and will
include following but not limited to.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues logged by UHC staff.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve iPhone, Android, and Windows OS configuration, installation, and support.
3. PC support and installation.
4. Network device installation and support.
5. Microsoft Office 365 administration.
6. Remote Monitoring and Management of computing devices.
7. Manage Wi-Fi Systems and Devices.
8. Create and maintain AD user accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or
ability required. The Union Health Center will comply with applicable standards of the
Americans with Disabilities Act.
1. One year of previous IT experience or a related degree or a combination of the above
2. Strong interpersonal, oral, written communication and collaborative skills.
3. Strong computer skills.
4. Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.
5. Technical certifications: A+, Network +, etc.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This Job is sedentary, and you must be able to work on a computer for long periods of time. Must
be able to stand, bend and reach and lift up to 30lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The candidate will be in an office setting.
Skills Required
