We are currently seeking a IT Data Analytics Specialist to join our dynamic team in Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy!


Vertiv is looking for a motivated Junior Data Analytics to join our Global Data Analytics team. He/she will be responsible for building and maintaining the scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that power our Smart Manufacturing and Ai initiatives. This role is essential for transforming raw data into a reliable foundation for advanced analytics, helping Vertiv solve critical challenges.

The ideal candidate will have an excitement for big data technologies as well as a demonstrated ability to apply both established and emerging technologies to solve problems. He/she takes initiative to add value and is constantly looking to improve existing processes and solutions



What kind of work will you be doing?


  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and process high-volume data
  • Data Lake Management: Support the maintenance of the Global Data Lake and assist in designing structured data models and schemas.
  • Query Optimization: Write and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data extraction and transformation.
  • Collaboration: Work directly with Data Scientists and Analysts to provide the high-quality datasets they need for predictive modelling and business reporting.
  • Document and communicate technical complexities completely and clearly to team members and other key stakeholders
  • Automation: Develop scripts to automate manual data processes, reducing latency and improving availability for global stakeholders.

What will make you successful?


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Language: Fluent English is a must, with strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate across global and regional teams.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Knowledge in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL.
    • Knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
    • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git/GitHub.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a similar role is preferred.

 The anticipated salary range for this role in the Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy locality is between 35.000€ to 44.000€ gross per year [IF ROLE IS NON-EXEMPT: (based on a 40-hour work week)]—salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary. Certain roles are eligible for additional benefits. Where applicable, a comprehensive overview of the full benefits package and any additional compensation will be provided during the initial interview. Compensation ranges are determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including skills, experience, and job responsibilities.
