Simple Technology Solutions is looking for an IT Data Architect to add to our AI project team.
Quick Position Overview:

The Role:
The IT Data Architect will play a pivotal role in our AI projects, designing and implementing robust data architectures to support advanced AI solutions. This role involves managing the end-to-end data architecture process, including data modeling, database design, and data integration. The Data Architect will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the effective and secure handling of data throughout the project lifecycle.
The IT Data Architect at STS will:
- Design and implement scalable data architectures to support AI projects.
- Develop and maintain data models, database schemas, and data integration processes.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across AI solutions.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to optimize data workflows and pipelines.
- Define and enforce data governance policies and standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Provide strategic guidance on data management and architecture best practices.
- Stay current with emerging data technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Document data architecture designs, processes, and procedures.
Education and Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
- Strong understanding of AI and machine learning technologies.
- Proven experience with data integration tools and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing solutions.
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
- Familiarity with AI-related libraries and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Certifications in data architecture or related fields.
