The Role

Important Information:

  • Years of Experience: 5  YoE Relevant experience in IT change management, IT service management, or related IT operations role.

  • Job Mode: Full-time

  • Work Mode: Remote 

Job Summary:
We are seeking an IT Change Management Coordinator to oversee and facilitate IT change processes in alignment with ITIL best practices. This role ensures that modifications to IT systems and infrastructure are efficiently planned, assessed, and executed with minimal risk and disruption to business operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and leadership to enforce governance, improve change adoption, and enhance operational stability.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Coordinate IT change management activities to ensure alignment with ITIL frameworks and company policies.

  • Assess change requests for potential risks, impacts, and dependencies.

  • Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and ensure necessary approvals.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of change records and reports.

  • Communicate change details, schedules, and impacts to stakeholders.

  • Monitor post-change performance and ensure adherence to rollback plans if needed.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance IT change processes and minimize operational disruptions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in IT change management, IT service management, or a related IT operations role.

  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices and change management frameworks.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Role-specific Requirements:

  • Knowledge of IT governance frameworks and risk management strategies.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive change management best practices.

  • Experience with ITSM tools for change management tracking and reporting.

Technologies:

  • ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy)

  • ITIL frameworks and methodologies

  • Incident and problem management tools

Skillset Competencies:

  • Change management planning and execution

  • Risk assessment and impact analysis

  • Process improvement and governance enforcement

  • Stakeholder communication and collaboration
