Job Description:At Regions, the Change Management Analyst plans and monitors smaller scale change management projects and directs specific portions of larger scale projects with limited supervision.
Primary Responsibilities
- Recommends and develops strategies for implementing appropriate internal changes or responding to external changes
- Preforms system design and programming, network planning, budget planning, database management and computer operations
- Works with subject matter experts to gain a clear understanding of how change will impact current processes and outputs
- Creates and monitors actionable deliverables for project teams
- Completes impact analysis of proposed changes through documentation of current processes and proposed solutions
- Manages a backlog of operational changes and prioritizes effects
- Informs identified stakeholders of upcoming changes
Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices
- May lead functional teams or projects, while providing guidance to less experienced associates
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five (5) years of related work experience
- OR High School Diploma or GED and nine (9) years of related work experience

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in IT operations, IT Service Management, production support, technology risk, or a related field, with experience supporting IT Change Management programs in a large, complex, or regulated environment. Candidates should have experience reviewing Requests for Change (RFCs) for technical accuracy, implementation readiness, risk assessment, testing and validation strategies, and backout planning, as well as supporting Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities and technology governance processes. A strong understanding of ITIL Change Enablement practices, ServiceNow, enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and technology risk management is preferred. Familiarity with audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements is highly desirable. Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, ServiceNow, or similar technical credentials are a plus. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, collaboration across technical teams, and the ability to leverage metrics and trend analysis to improve change quality, implementation success rates, and overall process effectiveness.
This position is currently offsite, preferably close to a Regions office within our retail branch footprint (click here to see our locations). Associates will work from their home primarily and may be expected to go on site for meetings or other events as needed.
