As an IT Business Analyst, you will serve as a vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will be responsible for understanding business needs and translating them into high-quality technical solutions. You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, design support, testing coordination, and post-implementation support.
Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with business units to gather, analyze, and define business requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Translates business and user requirements into Epics, Features, and User Stories.
Assist PO and development teams in clarifying requirements and prioritizing features.
Coordinates recommended process changes, enhancements and product implementations, including test plans to ensure successful implementation.
Coordinate cross-functional communication to drive project progress and resolve issues and risks.
Continuously optimize business processes and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.
Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solution recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a related role, preferably with experience in large-scale system implementations.
Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Figma, etc.
Proficient in English communication across all four skills: listening, reading, speaking, and writing
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in insurance-related projects, including Point of sales, policy management, compensation, claims processing, or digital transformation in the insurance domain.
Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or Scrum Master are a plus.
