We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Technology team. This role will be based in Melbourne or Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity supporting applications, infrastructure and systems across Mercer’s superannuation environment. You will work closely with technical teams and other stakeholders to help triage issues, support upgrades, manage environments and improve the way problems are tracked through to resolution.
We will count on you to:
- Support the triage and investigation of technical issues across application and database environments
- Assist with upgrade activities, including coordination, issue logging and stakeholder engagement
- Review logs and trace issues to help identify likely root causes
- Work with DBA, Unix, Developers and other technical teams to progress fixes and remediation
- Provide support for registry systems and related logistics across the superannuation platforms
- Act as a point of contact for vulnerability-related tasks and upgrade support
What you need to have:
- Experience in a technical support, business analysis or application support role
- Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues using logs, trace data and structured problem-solving
- Experience working with technical teams such as database, infrastructure (AWS) or Unix support
- Clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders
