About the Role

As an ERP Business Analyst, you will help consolidate multiple legacy ERP systems onto Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain. Reporting to the Senior Product Owner – D365, you will bridge business and technical teams to deliver effective solutions, standardised processes and successful business transitions.

Based in Chullora with hybrid working available once established, you will join a growing D365 team and partner closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Procurement and Customer Service stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead workshops, interviews and process reviews to gather, analyse and validate business requirements.
  • Document user stories, process maps, business rules, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Translate business needs into practical D365 and ERP solutions, assessing standard capability before proposing enhancements or custom development.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis and work with developers and technical specialists through design and delivery.
  • Support system, regression and user acceptance testing, including defect investigation and resolution.
  • Contribute to data migration, validation, reconciliation, cutover, deployment and post-go-live support.
  • Gather reporting requirements and support insights through D365, Power BI, SQL, SSRS, Excel or comparable tools.
  • Develop training materials, process documentation and user guidance to support adoption.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls, improve data quality and reduce manual work.
  • Promote standardised, reusable solutions across the business.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Systems Analyst, ERP Consultant or in a comparable role.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, enhancements or transformation initiatives.
  • Strong capability in business analysis, process mapping, requirements documentation and translating business requirements into system requirements.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations experience is highly desirable; experience with SAP or another ERP platform will also be considered.
  • Exposure to Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing, Distribution, Finance or Customer Service environments.
  • Understanding of integrations, data migration, master data, reporting and business controls.
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, SSRS, Power Platform, Excel analytics, Jira or Azure DevOps is advantageous.
  • A collaborative, self-directed approach, with excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work through complexity and build practical, trusted solutions.
