We have an exciting opportunity for a IT Business Analyst to join Norgine.
The person holding this position will report to Head of IT.
MAIN PURPOSE:
The individual will be the overall Technical System Owner (TSO) for the systems that they lead and is responsible for supporting the allotted Business area / function to provide advice and guidance on IT related matters. Ensuring compliance through the use of IT systems to support business processes is the principle accountability to the job holder. The job holder will seek to implement IT solutions that are robust, “fit for purpose” and add value to meet the key objectives of reducing inefficiencies and globally harmonising processes whilst remaining compliant.
This role is a 12 month FTC role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Work with the business function to develop and document a clear understanding of the business processes and how they operate to enable clear understanding of how IT can add value
• Provide support across the systems within the function, including managing through to resolution any touch points within IT, Business and third parties that impact a person’s ability to use the system
• Drawing up specific proposals for new, modified or replacement systems to support the improvement and/or automation of business processes
• Maintain an excellent level of understanding of the business processes and activities of the business functions
• Maintain an excellent level of understanding of IT systems and technologies that relate to the business functions
• Where necessary lead a team (taking on more of project manager role where required) of IT staff to facilitate the delivery of IT systems and services against an assigned project / objective
• Where necessary engage with third party vendors to facilitate the delivery and support of IT systems and services to the business functions
• Liaising with Process Owners, Users, and other members of IT / Vendors to support issue resolution
• Working to ensure that any IT system / processes and remains “fit for purpose”
• Manage, create and maintain up to date process / system documentation, to meet the requirements of documentary evidence for processes relevant to the Business Units supported. Documentation must be consistent with GxP and regulatory requirements to the pharmaceutical industry, and in line with Norgine’s Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Project Methodology – MECHANO
• Provide system coaching & mentoring to the Application Support Analysts, system SME’s, stakeholder and Supplier Management as assigned
• Providing guidance to the Business on their Business Continuity Planning activities
• Working with Application Support Analysts to ensure system remains in a validated state
• Other duties as assigned including but not limited to
o Vendor, supplier and customer relationships

o Vendor Information
o License information
o Technology Roadmap

o Adding new systems

• Key users and stakeholders within Manufacturing & Supply and Operations Quality.
• IT Team – Global Infrastructure and IT Service Delivery teams.
• Business System Owner or delegate, business users and Vendors, as required.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills;

• Track record of delivering proven reliable, robust applications to business needs;
• Knowledge of business theory and proven ability of mapping business processes to identify process inefficiencies;
• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language;
• Proven ability to prioritise based on business need;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems;
• Ability to work calmly and methodically under pressure;
• Attitude of continuous system improvement;
• Experience of working in a heavily regulated environment is an advantage;
• Good written and oral communication skills;
• Service and customer oriented in approach and manner.
• Ability to work at any Norgine site to support the required work.
