The IT Business Analyst position within Enterprise Programs is an integral part of the Enterprise Program Management team. Reporting directly to the IT Director for Enterprise Programs, the role involves diverse responsibilities, including managing audit requirements, overseeing testing solutions, supporting Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities, coordinating data conversion, and contributing to application user and role design. This role will also provide assistance to other IT application managers and directors, support IT project managers, drive innovation in project management, and maintain a detailed implementation playbook. Regular project updates are also expected.
Responsibilities:
Manage (internal) audit requirements for the Enterprise Programs.
Onboarding and offboarding internal and external team members to programs.
Manage Testing solutions including golden scripts, scenarios and progress monitoring.
Support driving OCM (Organizational Change Management) activities for the different IT implementations globally.
Coordinate data conversion activities within the project team as well as with business users.
Play an important role in Application user and role design and work closely with security teams.
Support the other IT application managers & directors as well as the IT project managers where needed as involvement is expected in the delivery of project implementations in various regions.
Drive innovation within the project management execution of the programs, and work on establishing and maintaining a detailed implementation playbook.
Provide project updates on a regular cadence.
Requirements:
Degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Exceptional critical problem-solving skills, including the ability to handle multitasking assignments.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
A team player with a responsive and organized approach.
Proficiency in communicating with non-technical shop floor business personnel.
Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment.
Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing.
Willingness to travel when required, with up to 25% domestic and/or international travel to any of the world-wide Flowserve sites.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Smartsheet, PowerBi and Microsoft Projects experience.
Working experience in a manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
IT project life cycle implementation experience.
Knowledgeable in Change Request Management.
This is an entry-level position, and prior experience as a Business Analyst is not a prerequisite.
