We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure and M365 Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and Microsoft 365 services. You will play a critical role in ensuring our cloud-based environments are secure, optimized, and aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure components including VMs, VNets, Azure AD, and other IaaS/PaaS services.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune.
- Implement and manage security features across Azure and M365 including Conditional Access, Defender for Cloud, and identity governance.
- Monitor system performance, conduct troubleshooting, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
- Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and development teams to align cloud solutions with business needs.
- Manage user identity, access, and licensing via Azure Active Directory and M365 Admin Center.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies for data protection and access control.
- Provide Tier 3 support for cloud infrastructure and M365 environments.
- Stay updated with the latest Azure and Microsoft 365 updates, features, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in managing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure services such as Azure AD, Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, Azure Security Center.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Strong understanding of networking principles, firewalls, and VPNs in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred:
- Microsoft certifications such as:
- Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Experience with hybrid cloud/on-prem environments (e.g., AD Connect, Exchange Hybrid).
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft Purview.
