What You Will Be Doing
This role is a mix of IT and Audio Video responsibilities. The candidate will have a deep understanding of IT help desk related topics, as well as audio engineering and video broadcast; not just in the technical realm but also in the creative realm. Candidate must be able to quickly and calmly think when issues / glitches arise during a live broadcast to an audience of 1,000+. Experience and professionalism in supporting the occasional executive onsite & offsite event. This role will entail planning, designing, budgeting, and directing various convention center and hotel ballroom staff.
Responsibilities
- Setting up an entire production with or without help
- Producing smooth and seamless transitions on a broadcast switcher/scaler (BlackMagic, Analog Way, Barco, etc)
- Color grade and correct incoming SDI video feeds for ambient lighting conditions for broadcast
- Troubleshoot and deploy NDI / HDBaseT Video over IP senders/receivers in conference rooms.
- Shoot primary & B-roll shots for video
- Edit video from video shoots
- Help with all IT related queries regarding identifying and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Help in resolving all other IT tickets assigned from the IT ticketing system, ensuring prompt and effective solutions to a wide range of IT concerns.
- Direct and administer IT projects, working with different teams to ensure their successful completion within the stipulated timelines and budgets.
- Oversee the office's IT assets meticulously, making sure all hardware are cataloged, maintained, and kept current.
- Support the IT Manager with diverse tasks as necessary, contributing to the broader IT strategy and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a role supporting end users, showcasing a solid history of resolving IT issues.
- Comfortable mixing for in person & virtual on a digital audio console (Midas, Soundcraft, Allen & Heath)
- Understanding of Crestron devices / control systems
- Experience with high density deployment of UHF G50 band and similar wireless transmitters
- Knowledge of Zoom Rooms & Teams Rooms
- Experience with OKTA, Office 365, Kandji, Intune, and practices in Asset Management is required.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot effectively, with a knack for quickly diagnosing and rectifying technical problems.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of breaking down complex technical details for a non-technical audience.
- Competent in handling multiple tasks at once, with an emphasis on effective prioritization and time management.
- Holding certifications or degrees in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline will be considered a plus.

Location
Campbell, CA
ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $70,000 to $129,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
