Job Description

In this role, you will be part of an IT audit team and carry out risk-based audits in the areas of IT, data protection and information security – in modern IT environments with cloud, AI, container technologies, microservices, data analytics and DevOps/CI/CD. You will assess IT processes, risks and controls, prepare results in a way that is appropriate for the target group and formulate actionable recommendations for IT, departments and management.

You will contribute your IT and security expertise to risk-based audit planning, integrate regulatory requirements as well as cybersecurity and data protection developments, and drive the further development of audit approaches with data analytics and digital tools. In an international and hybrid environment, you will carry out IT audits in Bendern as well as at locations in Europe and Asia and accompany agile IT projects with an independent view of risks and controls.

  • Active role in the IT audit team - You will be part of a powerful IT audit team and take responsibility for the group-wide planning, preparation and implementation of risk-based audits in the areas of IT, data protection and information security.

  • Audit of modern IT landscapes - You will assess IT processes, risks and the IT control system in a state-of-the-art environment - with technologies such as AI, cloud platforms, container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes), microservices architectures, data analytics / big data, API-based integrations as well as DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Impact through clear results - You will prepare audit results in a way that is appropriate for the target group, develop solution concepts, formulate concrete recommendations in report form and discuss them with IT, departments and management - always with a view to effectiveness and feasibility.

  • Helping to shape the audit strategy - You will actively contribute your IT and security expertise to the annual, risk-based audit planning and help to set the priorities for the coming years.

  • Focus on regulation and cybersecurity - You will follow developments in the areas of data protection, cybersecurity and banking regulatory requirements and integrate them into audit planning and execution in a targeted manner.

  • Further development of methods and tools - You will drive the modernization of our audit approaches – for example through the increased use of data analytics, AI agents and other digital tools – and help to continuously improve our audit programs.

  • International working environment - You will carry out IT audits at our location in Bendern as well as occasionally at international locations in Europe and Asia and work together with colleagues across national and disciplinary borders.

  • Learning on the technology front - You will work in a very varied field, constantly learn about new technologies and test their use on the basis of continuous professional and methodological training.

  • Support of agile IT projects - You will accompany agile IT projects, bring an independent view and assess how risks, control mechanisms and security requirements are taken into account in modern project and delivery setups.

  • Hybrid work with team spirit - You will work on site in Bendern at least two days a week to promote exchange within the team, joint exam work and knowledge transfer - combined with the flexibility of being able to work remotely in a focused manner.
