IT Audit Senior Manager

Labcorp is seeking an experienced IT Audit Manager to join our Internal Audit team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT auditing, risk management, and controls testing. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of IT general, and application controls, SOX compliance, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. A key responsibility of this position is working with the Global Internal Audit Team and partnering with the Global IT Enterprise team to strengthen IT governance, security and compliance across the organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform internal audit risk assessments and help develop the annual audit plan.
• Plans, coordinates, and conducts periodic information system audit audits and advisory projects of operational and financial areas in accordance with approved annual audit plan.
• Perform SOX IT General Controls (ITGC) testing in collaboration with IT Compliance and External Audit.
• Proven experience in conducting Internal Financial Controls testing and audit in compliance with the India Companies Act is a plus.
• Review and test Business Systems Controls and IT Application Controls, including code reviews, interface controls, and IT General Controls (e.g., Change Management, Access Management, Backup Management, Incident and Problem Management, SDLC, Data Migration, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery).Assist with special audits, consulting projects, and other ad hoc assignments as needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with management and IT teams, ensuring clear communication of project progress, deliverables, and timelines. 
• Monitor and track project budgets and timelines to ensure efficient delivery of engagements. 
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to provide strategic insights and recommendations. 
• Collaborate with audit staff to plan audits, develop work papers, and reports.
• Responsible for reviewing the work performed by IT audit team.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, Accounting, or Computer Science.
• 7+ years’ experience assessing complex systems (Operating Systems, Database Management Systems, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, ERP) and IT Operations.
• Proven experience as a project lead, including risk assessment, planning, execution, and issue reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IT Control Frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, Secure Control Framework)
• Able to multitask in a rapidly changing environment; able to lead and deliver with limited supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with auditing software such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau or similar.
• CISA (preferred)
• Ability to travel as needed to conduct audits at various Labcorp sites.
• Familiarity with the AuditBoard tool is a plus.
• Knowledge and/or experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) frameworks, machine learning, deep learning, and AI governance is a plus
