Squishable is a close-knit team of designers, artists, pop culture-fanatics, and lovers of all things adorable. Together we create the cutest, cuddliest, (and sometimes downright unusual) plush and lifestyle products in the world. Summary: An IT Associate at Squishable is in charge of setting up, managing, and troubleshooting the technology systems the business uses to maintain computer and software networks.
Responsibilities
- Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
- Implement security measures
- Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements
- Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems
- Install and update company software and hardware as needed
- Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-3 years of professional experience
- Portfolio shows a proficiency with illustration in a variety of styles
- Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software, and programming
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Good organization, time management, and prioritization
- Efficient troubleshooting abilities
- Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing, and active listening
- Great customer service and interpersonal skills
Pay is $25 an hour
This role is required to commute to our DC office (4-5 days out of the week)
