PTC Inc. is seeking an IT Associate End User Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of their IT systems and applications.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, both in-person and remotely.
* Troubleshoot and resolve common desktop and laptop problems, including operating system errors, application malfunctions, and peripheral connectivity.
* Assist users with account management, password resets, and access requests for various internal systems.
* Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
* Document support tickets, resolutions, and user interactions accurately in the IT service management system.
* Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level support teams or appropriate IT personnel.
* Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT best practices and the use of common software applications.
* Participate in IT asset management activities, including inventory tracking and equipment deployment/retrieval.
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT knowledge base articles and user guides.
* Adhere to IT security policies and procedures, ensuring the protection of company data and systems.
Job Qualifications:**
* Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in an enterprise environment.
* Solid understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Familiarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
* Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
* Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification is a plus.

PTC carefully considers a wide variety  of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $60,000-$65,000. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a performance-based bonus.  Employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP), which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs. Employees may be eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and sick leave, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) contributions and employer match, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage and, if you are an office-assigned employee, a generous commuter subsidy. All total rewards and benefits programs are subject to applicable plan eligibility and other terms and conditions.
