IT Assistant 

Sacramento, California 

We are seeking a IT Assistant to join FoundationCCC in its mission of benefitting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. Together, we are building stronger communities by getting students and colleges the resources they need to succeed and expanding pathways to economic and social mobility across California. What You’ll Do 

This position is responsible for the administrative duties and logistical services that support the Information Technology and Office Operations teams.  Working with both departments, the Assistant will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the Foundation.  

  • Under general direction, Assistant supports the activities and operations of the Information Technology and Office Operations groups, including IT administrative support, conference room AV troubleshooting, reception, conference room preparation, phone, return merchandise authorization requests and mail services.  

  • Inventory management of personal computers, including procurement and asset tagging within Jira’s Information Technology Asset Management system.

  • Provide technical support contact to all conference rooms, Zoom rooms, and onsite support of AV equipment (projectors, televisions, controllers, and peripherals).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel), Google Workspace, JIRA and BMS.

Budgeted Hourly Pay Range:

$21.00 - $22.00

Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
