Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NetSuite Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing NetSuite solutions that meet the needs of our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of NetSuite's architecture, modules, and integration capabilities, as well as the ability to analyze business processes and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement NetSuite solutions that align with business requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with our Product team to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional and/or technical specifications.
- Be the gateway for training and coordination of all development work for the team to ensure clear and smooth implementation of features and bug fixes.
- Work closely with Product team to ensure tickets are refined enough to be picked up with members of the development team.
- Coordinate the development team efforts to ensure all the work comes out together and in working state.
- Develop and maintain NetSuite customizations, workflows, and integrations with other systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams and end-users.
- Ensure the scalability and performance of NetSuite solutions.
- Ability to plan ahead on technical designs and communicate with various teams on product roadmaps as needed.
- Conduct system audits and performance tuning to optimize NetSuite capabilities.
- Stay up-to-date with NetSuite releases and new features, recommending enhancements as necessary.
- Continuously train and mentor team members on NetSuite best practices and architecture.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects and adherence to budgets.
- Work closely with the App Dev Manager to ensure the change management process is being followed using ADO and Github best practices
- Oversee release management of code and related objects between environments, and host “release parties” to ensure everyone is aligned on the releases
- Write technical documentation for release and continuous improvements
Competencies (KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS or ABILITIES / BEHAVIOR):
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience with NetSuite, including architecture and implementation.
- Strong understanding of NetSuite modules: WMS, Core Financials, CRM, and eCommerce.
- Proficiency with REST, SOAP, and other middleware frameworks for integrations.
- High efficiency in SuiteScript 1.0 / 2.0 / 2.1 and React JS web application development
- Advanced knowledge of SuiteFlow and Big Data extraction and import with NetSuite
- Advanced experience with using Github, including setting up GitHub operational infrastructure from scratch for high performance teams.
- Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines, and other deployment strategies for SaaS software
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- NetSuite certifications (e.g., NetSuite ERP Consultant, NetSuite SuiteFoundation) are a plus.
