We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on IT Applications Manager (Software Solutions) to lead the development, integration, and optimization of software platforms supporting our retail, eCommerce, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in enterprise systems and programming, coupled with proven leadership experience in managing a software engineering team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation, enhancement, and support of business-critical systems, including Point of Sale (POS), ERP, CRM, and WMS platforms
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers and business analysts to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define system requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Manage end-to-end delivery of web applications and internal integration solutions that streamline business operations and enhance system interoperability
- Ensure system integrations, data consistency, and security across platforms
- Maintain a hands-on role in programming, particularly in Python, and perform regular code reviews
- Drive internal systems integration using APIs, message queues, or middleware to ensure real-time data exchange across platforms
- Ensure technical documentation, best practices, and change management processes are adhered to
- Monitor emerging technologies and propose strategic system improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant IT/software experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or technical lead role
- Strong technical expertise in Python and software development best practices
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Alicloud)
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or API integrations
- Proven experience with one or more enterprise systems, including: POS systems (e.g., Oracle Xstore), ERP (e.g., SAP), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), OMS, WMS, RFID, Ecommerce (Salesforce Commerce Cloud)
- Experience working in retail, eCommerce, or supply chain industries
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across business and technical teams
