Job Description
About The Role
The IT Global Delivery Applications Specialist II is responsible for supporting and enhancing our (add functional business area here) applications, including (add application name here), with high quality, timely and cost-effective solutions. This role works with the global business partners to understand requirements, configure the system, create test plans, and execute testing.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Partner with various IT stakeholders and business functions to expand business knowledge and increase functional expertise
- Translate business requirements into IT solution designs for small to medium complexity enhancements and projects
- Partner with peers and technical team to establish to-be solution alternatives with recommendation and participate on the best approach to pilot and deploy solutions
- Write functional requirements, complete configuration or coordinate development, develop test plans and scripts, conduct component and integration testing, and coordinate user acceptance testing
- Participate with data conversion, data validation efforts, cut over activities, and post go live support for system implementations
- Work with development resources to confirm the requirement is being met while evaluating the effectiveness of the solution and makes necessary adjustments before full deployment
- Manage the delivery of small to medium enhancements or projects effectively applying the Amcor Project Management Methodology with accountability for milestones while engaging and leading appropriate Project Team Members (IT and Business)
- Ensure architected solutions meets scalability, availability & meets service level agreements in production
- Create and maintain documentation of the existing and future functions included into the Procurement solutions
- Adhere to Amcor change control and SDLC processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents (Level 1-4) and requests per service level agreements utilizing the ServiceNow ticket platform adhering to SLAs
- Document and follow Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs) and publish accordingly
- Promote information sharing across sites to take advantages of the Procurement area to usage to avoid duplicated development and study
- Provide key-user or end-user training and guidance through the implementation of Procurement changes
- Role requires 5%-10% travel
- Role supports primarily North American procurement functions with occasional global procurement efforts
- Position location is flexible with remote/hybrid/office options
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science, management information systems, business or a related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of work experience in IT, including Software Development (SDLC) and Project Management experience
- Fluent English. Other languages are advantageous
- Experienced in SAP- MM, SAP Ariba, Data and reporting (minimum 3 years)
- Effective organisational, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Comprehensive experience with office and planning PC tools
- Requirements modelling and need analysis techniques advantageous
- Experience with techniques and tools used in the testing process advantageous

CompensationThe starting salary for this position is expected to be between $82 500 to $103 100; however, base pay offered may vary within the full salary range $82 500 to $123 700 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location. Position may also be eligible for Amcor’s Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits.Benefits
