Position Summary

The IT Applications & Endpoint Specialist owns and continuously improves the employee technology experience across all HD Brakes Platform business units.

This position administers Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Intune, engineers and governs endpoint standards, manages end-user application deployment and device lifecycle practices, performs routine maintenance for assigned local servers and printing services, and ensures collaboration technologies are secure, reliable, supportable, and easy to use.

The role works across business units to replace inconsistent local practices with scalable platform standards, ensure adherence to applicable Marmon SPI requirements, and maintain strong partnerships with IT Support, Cloud & Infrastructure, ERP & Business Systems, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders

Essential Functions

• Administer and improve Microsoft 365, Intune, collaboration platforms, meeting-room technologies, licensing, policies, and related configurations.
• Establish and maintain endpoint standards, application deployment, patching, compliance, monitoring, and device lifecycle management for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting for assigned local servers, printers, multifunction devices, print servers, drivers, firmware, backups, and related services.
• Lead planned technology changes and provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, root-cause analysis, documentation, reporting, and automation using approved tools.
• Partner with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to manage access, data protection, vulnerabilities, incident response, audits, and compliance with applicable Marmon SPI requirements across all business units.
• Manage assigned vendors, warranties, licenses, renewals, technology roadmaps, budgets, lifecycle planning, and cost-improvement opportunities.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and network services; must be familiar with Cisco Meraki networking equipment (switches, wireless access points, and security appliances).
• Experience administering virtualization, backup and recovery using VEEAM, endpoint management, patching (Qualys), and enterprise security tools (Sentinel One), with working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, switching, and wireless networking.
• Strong analytical, communication, customer service, and documentation skills, with the ability to prioritize incidents and communicate technical issues clearly.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and participate in planned after-hours support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting IT infrastructure in a manufacturing or distribution environment, including multi-site networks and coordination with managed service providers and vendors.
• Experience with Azure infrastructure, Intune, PowerShell automation, Microsoft security tools, VMware/Hyper-V, enterprise backup platforms, and monitoring/disaster recovery tools.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience), plus 3–5 years of system administration or infrastructure support experience in a multi-site environment.

Work Environment

This position operates out of Cullman, AL with periodic travel to Siloam Springs, AR; Tell City, IN; DuBois, PA; and San Luis, MX; Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required for projects, maintenance, and incident response.
