POSITION

B4Checkin is seeking an experienced IT & Compliance Manager to lead the continued evolution of our technology organization. This is a strategic management position responsible for aligning technology with business objectives while strengthening governance, developing future leaders, and ensuring the organization continues to scale through sound operational practices rather than dependence on individual contributors. The successful candidate will lead technology strategy, organizational governance, compliance, operational leadership, and organizational development while working closely with senior leadership to build the next generation of B4Checkin's technology organization. This role is ideally suited to a leader who enjoys building organizations, developing people, and establishing practical governance that enables innovation while protecting the long-term interests of the business.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with senior leadership on technology strategy.
  • Align technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Establish long-term technology direction.
  • Represent technology at the senior management level.
  • Lead governance, policy, and standards.
  • Oversee technology risk management.
  • Maintain regulatory and contractual compliance.
  • Improve change management and organizational accountability.
  • Support internal and external audit activities.
  • Develop leadership capability across the technology organization.
  • Define organizational structure and responsibilities.
  • Improve communication and collaboration.
  • Establish succession planning.
  • Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Equivalent senior leadership experience will be considered.
  • 3-5 years of experience with technologies and practices such as: Microsoft Azure, Enterprise cloud architecture, Cybersecurity, Identity and access management, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Modern Infrastructure, AI governance, ITSM, Enterprise Architecture. Broad management understanding is more important than deep specialization.
  • Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, ITIL, COBIT, PMP, Microsoft Azure certifications, CIPP, or their relevant management, governance, cloud, or cybersecurity certifications.

Skills Required
