About the role:
You, as the IT Analyst will facilitate daily technical virtual and in-person user assistance, performing onboarding and off-boarding tasks, access provisioning and deprovisioning, actively contributing to documentation maintenance, and participating in regular IT team meetings. At Oscar you will serve as the essential first line of support, providing vital virtual and in-person technical assistance to employees and contractors. You will work with stakeholders across the organization, including developers, operations teams, executives, and end users.
Work Location: This position is based in our NYC office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid
Pay Transparency: The hourly pay for this role is: $22.21 - $29.15 per hour. You are also eligible for employee benefits, monthly vacation accrual at a rate of 15 days per year and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Provide end user support on Mac and Chromebook systems.
- Staff in-person and/or virtual help desks.
- Participate in a team rotation of weekend check-ins, typically involving four hours of weekend work Provide support for international onboarding
- Develop a deep understanding of Oscar's internal IT functions to efficiently support end users and optimize SLAs.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures while assisting users, and proactively suggest improvements when necessary.
- Contribute to meticulous documentation maintenance, ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date records.
- Show initiative and drive in actions, projects, and interactions, introducing positive changes to IT workflows.
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience supporting Mac users in large environments, demonstrating patience in troubleshooting and educating users.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Bonus points:
- Updated on the latest tools for environment management.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity in inventory control and laptop provisioning.
- Display a track record of meeting deadlines, exceeding expectations, and taking ownership.
- Familiarity with Okta, Google Workplace, MDM, and Service desk tools (Jira/Zendesk/ServiceNow).
- Hold an Apple Certified Support Professional designation and JAMF 100 Certification.
- Bachelor's Degree
