As a Collaboration Platform Engineer II, you will support, enhance, and help deliver solutions across core Microsoft 365 services - resolving platform issues, assisting with new feature rollouts, and contributing to the security, reliability, and overall user experience of the Microsoft enterprise platform at Williams. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow technically, take on increasing ownership, and play a meaningful role in Williams' AI transformation as Microsoft Copilot and adjacent technologies become central to how we work.

Responsibilities/Expectations:- Provides application software development services or technical support
- Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications
- Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications
- Analyzes requirements and maintains, tests and integrates application components in a timely, cost-effective manner
- Monitors, supports and diagnosis application systems to ensure specifications are met
- Develops procedures for application system testing and validation to ensure system integrity
- Supports the administration of core Microsoft 365 services ensuring reliable, secure, and compliant enterprise capabilities through identity management, MFA, Conditional Access, permissions reviews, and policy administration under established guidance
- Assists with platform operations such as licensing, service accounts, distribution groups, shared resources, external access settings, tenant integrations, migrations, and environment changes, including provisioning, coexistence activities, and validation tasks
- Monitors the Microsoft 365 product roadmap, evaluate emerging capabilities, and communicate platform updates, technical requirements, and rollout plans to stakeholders, including translating complex concepts for non-technical audiences
- Provides operational support for Microsoft platform issues, troubleshoots routine and non-standard problems, and collaborates with senior engineers on more complex platform challenges
- Contributes to automation, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts that enhance platform support, service quality, and operational efficiency
- Other duties as assigned
- Required: High school diploma/GED and a minimum of one (1) year of IT experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field and a minimum of two (2) years' IT experience
- Participation in 24/7 on-call support
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
