The role of the Information Technology Analyst I is to provide support as a point-of-contact for company personnel, and third-party vendors, by gathering, interpreting, and using complex data to develop actionable steps that will improve processes and optimize results. Opportunities within the day to day include working new solutions, providing both troubleshooting and problem management, enhance efficiencies, and provide data driven recommendations. This role involves significant interaction with personnel of all levels of the Company requires staff members possess very capable personal attributes in addition to aptitude for ongoing development of technical skills. 

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s staff, employees, and business relationships.

Position is not remote/hybrid and will report to our Cleveland Hinckley Parkway location. 

Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

Manage new solution schedules, data analysis, trends , platforms ,and processes to  implementation.

Manage the maintenance the documentation and systems for proposed projects.    

Maintain control and follow-up of all technical problems encountered, illustrating action taken and parties concerned.

Act as a point of contact between Sherwin-Williams Headquarters, Division and Field locations and outside vendors.


Acquisition & Deployment

Assist with the identification and implementation of solutions that provide enhanced functionality and value.

Assist in the creation and deployment of service solutions that will simplify processes.

Manage the process and installation of new solutions.  

Manage the process and installation of technical platforms, reports, and automations.  

Take active role in the vetting, analysis, and execution of recommended solutions.


Operational Management

Troubleshoot and resolve complex store technology, network, and application issues by performing technical analysis, coordinating with vendors and support teams, and driving incidents to resolution.  

Manage the coordination of  Sherwin-Williams and vendor activities to ensure successful Store Technology & Operation installations.

Communicate directly with vendors and interested parties when problems arise in order  to resolve issues/problems..  

Monitor work order changes and communicate to necessary contacts.

Open and update SNOW, Help Desk reports, Meister Task cards, or any future tracking and reporting tools.  

Monitor control all channels of ITSM requests.  

Coordinate documentation and dispatching of complex data and solutions to appropriate parts of the organization.  

Recommend process and procedural improvements for all individual operational responsibilities.


Incidental Functions

Assist with Change Management preparations and implementations.

Assist with large projects as may be required to contribute to efficiency, effectiveness, and growth     of the department.  

Attend meetings in participation with the team.  

Produce decision guidelines and processes for cross-departmental utilization.  

Work Schedule

Work outside the standard office 7.5- hour workday is required.  

After hours: EST 
M-F: 5:45am-8pm
Sat: 7:30am-4pm
Sun: 9:45am-2pm 

Qualifications

Formal Education & Certification

Associate Degree (or foreign equivalent) or in lieu of a degree, at least 6 years in experience in the field of Information Technology or Business (work experience or a combination of education and work experience in the field of Information Technology or Business).  


Knowledge & Experience

0–1-year IT experience

0–1-year experience with computer hardware and/or software.

0–1-year experience in customer service-related work.

Basic understanding of information technology infrastructure and computer platforms.

Basic understanding of computer administration concepts.

  • Associate degree or foreign equivalent, or at least six years of Information Technology or Business experience in lieu of a degree
