What you’ll do:
- End User Support for Windchill Users:
- Help end users in using the PLM system effectively.
- Help troubleshoot issues and provide solutions for user-related problems.
- Provide support for existing Windchill 12.1.2.x system, including resolving issues and answering user queries.
- CAD Administration Support:
- Help with CAD software installation, configuration, and licensing.
- Assist in applying CAD patches and updates to ensure the software is up to date.
- Troubleshoot CAD software issues and provide solutions to users.
- Basic Support on Other Engineering Applications:
- Offer basic support for other engineering applications used in the organization.
- Assist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of these applications.
- Provide guidance and solutions for common issues encountered by users.
What we’re looking for:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience providing comprehensive support for PLM and CAD applications is highly recommended.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering , computer science, or a related field is recommended but we may accept an associate degree or equivalent certification combined with relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge and experience with CAD software, specifically Creo, Solidworks, AutoCAD, Siemens NX, and AutoCAD. Proficiency in creating and modifying CAD models, assemblies, and drawings would be a bonus.
- Familiarity and hands-on experience with Windchill PLM 12.x or closer versions system is important. Knowledge of Windchill administration, configuration, and support activities is necessary to effectively assist users and troubleshoot issues.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Engineering Applications used in the organization, such as Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and other Engineering Applications used to design products is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with end users, understanding their requirements, and providing clear instructions and support. The ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users is important.
- The ability to work well in a team environment, share knowledge, and contribute to collective problem-solving is preferred.
