Your day-to-day work will support physical and virtual infrastructure such as hypervisors, servers, storage, backup systems, and power, with a focus on availability, performance, and resilience. As an IT Analyst, a typical day might include the following:
Design, implement, secure, and support datacenter infrastructure.
Administer hypervisors and VMs to ensure availability, performance, and scalability.
Maintain physical server infrastructure, including racking, cabling, firmware, and hardware lifecycle.
Operate and maintain SAN and NAS storage platforms.
Administer backup systems; verify backup integrity and recovery readiness.
Monitor and support datacenter power, UPS, cooling, and environmental systems.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to infrastructure reliability, security, and resilience.
Perform capacity and lifecycle planning for compute, storage, power, and cooling resources.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) to standardize and automate infrastructure deployment and management.

A bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience in an IT environment
2+ years of related experience in a technical environment
Knowledge of IT methods, practices, procedures, and policies
A desire for life-long learning to maintain a comprehensive understanding of evolving technologies
Experience using programming languages and script writing
Experience teaching and mentoring IT interns and associates
Embraces dynamic, fast-paced environments; adapts well to rapid change
The ability to participate in after hours on call rotation

Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
The ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
Technical background and knowledge of manufacturing and/or engineering processes
Ability to meet Motor Vehicle Report Qualification Standards of SEL

Pay Range Data:
IT Analyst: $84,200 - $124,500 per year. Lead IT Analyst: $97,700 - $144,400 per year. Our compensation ranges are based on the responsibilities of the role. Starting pay is determined individually and considers factors such as relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and training. Candidates may be considered at different levels based on their background. As a result, pay may vary to align with the level of the role.
