Job Description

Position Summary:

The IT Analyst plays a critical role within the IT Business Operations, part of the Office of the CIO. You will assist in how the organization manages and optimizes how the Rockwell Automation IT organization sources, purchases, and manages technology goods and services—while balancing cost, risk, compliance, and needs.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Understand all aspects of the IT procurement process from Ideation to Depreciation.

  • Develop and Support Analytics for IT Procurement activities including total cycle time, accuracy, and risk.

  • Evaluate procurement processes and master data to determine opportunities for improvements and efficiencies.

  • Review monthly trends on IT financials for variance and determine corrective action plans

  • Review defects in three way match to determine corrective action and avoid manual efforts

  • Evaluate where Good Receipts and Invoices do not equal totals on a monthly basis to develop action plans to reduce risk

  • Support project financial activities including funding of WBS request, monitoring Capitalization spend, and assisting in depreciation activities

  • Advocate for Contract Renewals to be completed on a timely basis.

  • Track renewals to avoid auto-renewals or shelfware

  • Align resources to contractors and monitor workforce to overall compliance to end dates and change order dates.

  • Support Office of CIO with training, documentation and coaching as required.

  • You will report to the Manager of the IT Business Operations team.

The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Typically requires 0-1 year of relevant experience as an IT Analyst or similar role supporting IT programs

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience with procurement process.

  • Prior experience with SAP, Onbase, and Contract Lifecycle Management tools.
