8481 ISS Technical Services

Provides third level IT support to end users. Maintains all technical aspects of the information systems. Documents, mentors, and trains other IT staff to perform operational duties of information systems.

QUALIFICATIONS
License /Certification
Required: One industry standard certification within one year of hire/transfer.

Experience
Required: Four years information technology experience; or Two years information technology experience
with a degree in an Information Technology related field.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential
Oversees technical operations of network related services.
Completes network related tasks and projects on a timely basis.
Works on service requests/break-fix tickets related to delivering network services.
Performs intermediate level troubleshooting of network infrastructure.
Maintains network infrastructure:
Network switches- Uptime monitoring, Patching/Updating, Physical connectivity, Power management
Network routers- Physical connectivity, Power management
Access points- Placement, Connectivity, Labeling
Physical aspects of network equipment including labeling, placement, connectivity.
Works with vendors to provide support to network related infrastructure.
Participates in network on-call rotation.
Creates documentation for assigned aspects of the network.
Collaborates closely with the other members of the network team.
Identifies opportunities to improve services delivered.
Ability to work non-standard and extended hours during project implementations.

Additional
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population
served on the assigned unit or work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

$35.29 -$52.94
