Responsible for assessing, implementing, and monitoring infection prevention practices across facilities. Conducts surveillance and outbreak investigations, analyzes infection data, develops policies, educates staff, supports regulatory compliance, and collaborates with clinical teams and public health to reduce healthcare-associated infections.

Provides clinical risk management support by investigating complaints, grievances, and safety concerns; reviews medical records; coordinates DHS reporting and survey responses; delivers risk management education; monitors occurrence reporting, identifies trends, and recommends process improvements across Kaweah Health campuses.

Manage and support the healthcare Compliance Program including investigations, audits, risk assessments, policy review, training, and Fair Market Value processes. Lead and manage Kaweah Healths Compliance Program, ensuring adherence to federal and state laws (including HIPAA, Stark, Anti-Kickback). Oversee risk assessments, investigations, audits, physician contracting compliance, policy development, training, and reporting to the Board, CEO, and committees. Supervise compliance staff and coordinate with legal, HR, and clinical departments to remediate issues and maintain reporting channels.

The RN Case Manager assesses, plans, coordinates care, and advocates for patient services to promote quality outcomes in healthcare delivery.

Under pharmacist supervision, prepare, label, and aseptically compound IV and unit-dose medications (including neonatal/pediatric and cytotoxic preparations), maintain inventory and automated dispensing systems (e.g., Pyxis), perform sterile technique cleaning/documentation, assist pharmacists with safe medication distribution, and support quality, safety, and controlled-substance processes.

Conduct privacy investigations and audits, prepare breach reports and corrective action plans, manage privacy monitoring tools and logs, collaborate with HR and department managers on breaches, provide privacy training, track regulatory changes, and ensure HIPAA and California privacy law compliance across the health system.

Assess, plan, coordinate, and advocate for patient care across the continuum to promote quality, cost-effective outcomes. Develop and revise individualized care management plans, collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, document in the electronic health record, make referrals, and facilitate timely transitions to appropriate post-acute services.

Provide clinical education by assessing staff learning needs, designing and delivering orientation, in‑service and continuing education, monitoring competencies, maintaining records, updating policies/procedures, supporting unit-based competency fairs and PI projects, and providing direct patient care as assigned. Collaborate with leadership and the Director of Clinical Education to ensure staff competence and regulatory compliance.

Provide ongoing assessment of staff educational needs, design/implement/evaluate nursing education using adult learning principles, develop orientation and competency programs, maintain training records, update policies, participate in PI projects, and provide direct patient care as assigned.

Under pharmacist supervision, perform pharmacy operational tasks: fill and repackage medications, manage inventory and controlled substances, load/refill Pyxis medstations, process orders and returns, document temps/logs, assist with billing entries, deliver medications, and train new staff while following policies and safety protocols.

Provide expert vascular access nursing care, including PICC and midline catheter placement and management, staff and physician consultation, patient advocacy, quality improvement participation, and team leadership duties as the primary clinical resource on the Vascular Access Team.

The Clinical Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care including medication management, education, oversight of pharmacy technicians, and collaboration with healthcare teams in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Provide 340B program regulatory oversight across contract pharmacies: audit compliance, identify deficiencies, run and analyze 340B reports, validate patient/purchasing/billing records, support OPA and manufacturer audits, visit contract sites, and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions to maximize compliant 340B revenue.

Lead clinical operations on the Emergency Department shift: oversee staff assignments and patient flow, provide clinical mentorship and support, coordinate care in high-risk situations, ensure documentation and regulatory compliance, facilitate nurse-physician collaboration, and support orientation and performance feedback.

Provide urgent care services as a licensed Physician Assistant under physician supervision: obtain histories, perform exams and diagnostics, document in EMR, follow protocols, educate patients, coordinate care, participate in quality improvement and team meetings, and maintain continuing medical education and credentialing.

The Imaging Tech I operates x-ray equipment, performs imaging exams, ensures patient safety, maintains documentation, and provides patient care while following protocols in a healthcare setting.
