Performs newborn hearing screenings, accurately interprets and documents results, manages follow-up appointments, maintains screening records and equipment, and submits required state reports. Completes birth certificate and Social Security paperwork, obtains parent signatures, processes amendments, coordinates with county agencies, and performs related hospital administrative duties. Supports patient and family needs while maintaining supplies, equipment calibration records, and regulatory documentation.

Operates multi-slice CT equipment and performs routine and advanced imaging procedures, including CTA, cardiac, perfusion, and stroke exams. Reviews orders, prepares and positions patients, administers contrast under physician direction, verifies images and patient identifiers, transfers studies through RIS and PACS, performs quality assurance, maintains equipment and supplies, supports critical exams, and provides patient care. Maintains accurate documentation, supports radiology systems, protects patient confidentiality, and prepares imaging materials for scheduled procedures.

Provides charge nurse leadership for a progressive and intensive cardiac care unit. Oversees clinical operations, staffing assignments, patient flow, admissions, transfers, safety checks, interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, regulatory compliance, and emergent care coordination. Serves as a clinical resource, mentor, and role model for nursing staff; supports orientation, shared decision-making, performance feedback, and professional patient advocacy. Provides direct registered nursing care as needed.

Provide comprehensive nursing care in the ICCU using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation). Prepares and assists with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique, operating imaging and hemodynamic equipment, monitoring patients, documenting procedures, ensuring radiation safety, and supporting EP or IT functions when assigned.

Responsible for assessing, implementing, and monitoring infection prevention practices across facilities. Conducts surveillance and outbreak investigations, analyzes infection data, develops policies, educates staff, supports regulatory compliance, and collaborates with clinical teams and public health to reduce healthcare-associated infections.

Manage and support the healthcare Compliance Program including investigations, audits, risk assessments, policy review, training, and Fair Market Value processes. Supervise compliance staff, prepare reports and recommendations for leadership and the board, assist with state and federal audits, and provide consulting to management to improve compliance and mitigate risk across Kaweah Health and affiliated entities.

Lead and manage Kaweah Healths Compliance Program, ensuring adherence to federal and state laws (including HIPAA, Stark, Anti-Kickback). Oversee risk assessments, investigations, audits, physician contracting compliance, policy development, training, and reporting to the Board, CEO, and committees. Supervise compliance staff and coordinate with legal, HR, and clinical departments to remediate issues and maintain reporting channels.

The RN Case Manager assesses, plans, coordinates care, and advocates for patient services to promote quality outcomes in healthcare delivery.

Provide bedside vascular access surveillance, maintenance, education, and quality monitoring within LVN scope. Support IV care standardization, perform dressing changes and tubing management, assist with ultrasound-guided PIVs, collect and analyze surveillance data, escalate clinical issues, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to reduce CLABSI and improve vascular access outcomes.

Provide rapid assessment, stabilization, and leadership for at-risk non-critical and crisis patients as Rapid Response Team leader. Mobilize multidisciplinary resources, perform advanced critical-care interventions, document interventions, debrief and educate bedside staff, participate in quality improvement, and respond to Code Blue/Sepsis/Trauma/Stroke alerts. Serve as resource and perform rounds, impact nursing duties across critical care areas, and assist with scheduling, data collection, and staff education.

Provide clinical education by assessing staff learning needs, designing and delivering orientation, in‑service and continuing education, monitoring competencies, maintaining records, updating policies/procedures, supporting unit-based competency fairs and PI projects, and providing direct patient care as assigned. Collaborate with leadership and the Director of Clinical Education to ensure staff competence and regulatory compliance.

Conduct privacy investigations and audits, prepare breach reports and corrective action plans, manage privacy monitoring tools and logs, collaborate with HR and department managers on breaches, provide privacy training, track regulatory changes, and ensure HIPAA and California privacy law compliance across the health system.
