We are looking for a skilled Backup & Storage
Administrator to manage enterprise backup, recovery, tape library, and storage
infrastructure in a production environment. The role involves ensuring data
protection, backup reliability, disaster recovery readiness, and storage
availability across critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage enterprise backup and recovery operations
using Commvault.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve
backup/storage-related incidents and failures.
• Administer tape library operations including tape
rotation, archival, and media management.
• Manage NetApp storage infrastructure including
NAS/SAN, snapshots, replication, and storage provisioning.
• Support disaster recovery activities, backup
restorations, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Collaborate with server, database,
virtualization, and cloud teams for infrastructure support.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, compliance standards,
and operational processes.
Requirements
▪ Hands-on experience with Commvault backup
administration.
▪ Experience in Tape Library management and
archival operations.
▪ Strong knowledge of NetApp storage administration
(ONTAP, NAS, SAN, snapshots, replication).
▪ Good understanding of VMware, Windows, Linux, and
enterprise infrastructure environments.
▪ Experience in incident management,
troubleshooting, and disaster recovery support.
▪ Knowledge of scripting/automation and ITIL
processes will be an added advantage.
Skills Required
- Hands-on experience with Commvault backup administration
- Experience managing tape libraries and archival operations
- Strong knowledge of NetApp storage administration, including ONTAP, NAS, SAN, snapshots, replication, and provisioning
- Understanding of VMware, Windows, Linux, and enterprise infrastructure environments
