Job Overview

Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc. is looking for an optimistic, committed, and motivated candidate who obtains at least 1 year of experience with irrigation scheduling. This job will require traveling from one ranch to another which will require a valid California driver’s license with a clean DMV record.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Knowledge of production agriculture
• Collect and analyze soil moisture data using soil probe
• Maintain detailed records of soil moisture reading and irrigation schedules
• Communicate with irrigation principles: drip, sprinkler, irrigation preferred
• Coordinate activities based on factors such as crop maturity, weather conditions, and soil moisture conditions

Required Skills / Abilities

• Must have a clean driving record
• Must be able to follow our Fleet Safety Program and Policies

Physical Requirements

• Employee is regularly required to walk, stand for periods of time at workstation, climb stairs, and reach with hands and arms
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in extreme cold, heat, or humidity; and sometimes can include work in dusty or muddy work conditions

Pay offered/ Benefits

• $20-$25 per hour DOE
