RWDY is looking for experienced Ironworkers to work on the construction of a direct carbon capture plant.
Responsibilities:
- Lay out, position, align, and fit steel components for installation.
- Connect columns, beams, and girders using bolts and blueprints.
- Use rigging and cranes to move equipment and materials.
- Check alignment using levels, lasers, transits, and plumb bobs.
- Cut, bend, and weld steel using torches, shears, and welding equipment.
- Set up and operate welding equipment as needed.
- Follow supervisor instructions and project requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 4 years of industrial construction or maintenance experience.
- NCCER certification preferred.
- Knowledge of MSDS/SDS requirements.
- Must have required tools for the trade.
- Must pass a drug test and complete an audiogram.
- Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces, potentially over 300 ft.
- Must be available for overtime, nights, and weekends.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
