Position Summary: - The HR generalist / Industrial Relations Officer is responsible for managing employee
and labor relations in a manufacturing environment, ensuring full statutory compliance, and maintaining a
positive, productive workplace aligned with Moog’s culture, values, and philosophy. The role focuses on
preventive IR, union interactions, wage settlements, statutory governance, and employee engagement
initiatives.
Industrial & Employee Relations
 Support the prevention and resolution of employee and labor relations issues through proactive
engagement.
 Advice and counsel managers, supervisors, and employees on IR matters, disciplinary actions,
grievances, and dispute resolution.
 Manage union interactions (UOB), including meeting coordination, preparation, and circulation of
Minutes of Meetings (MOM).
 Maintain a positive industrial climate through ongoing dialogue and trust-building with workmen
and union representatives.
Statutory Compliance & Labor Law
 Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labor laws, rules, and regulations.
 Maintain statutory registers, records, and documentation as per legal requirements.
 Prepare and submit all required government returns and reports within defined timelines.
 Act as the primary point of contact during labor inspections, audits, and statutory inquiries.
HR Operations & Administration
 Manage administrative functions including:
o Attendance management
o Canteen services
o Transportation coordination
o Security and housekeeping services
o On roll / off role/ NAPS / Apprentice / GET Hiring process
 Manage temporary staffing requirements for Plant 2.
 Maintain and monitor overtime and night shift records for workmen, coordinate inputs to payroll.
Learning & Development
Support and manage defined Learning & Development initiatives aligned to plant and workforce needs.
Employee Engagement & Welfare
 Plan and execute employee welfare and engagement initiatives such as:
o Annual Picnic
o Annual Day
o Sports Day
o Recognition and social programs
 Promote two-way communication and employee involvement initiatives to strengthen
engagement.

Qualifications:
Education
 Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline.
 Master’s qualification preferred:
o MBA (HR) / MSW / Industrial Relations / Behavioral Sciences
Work experience
 6+ years of progressive HR experience in:
 Employee/Labor Relations
 Compliance & statutory governance
 Performance and workforce management
 3–5 years of core Industrial Relations experience
 Strong exposure to manufacturing environments (mandatory)

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related discipline
  • Master's qualification (MBA HR, MSW, Industrial Relations, Behavioral Sciences)
  • 6+ years progressive HR experience including Employee/Labor Relations, Compliance & statutory governance, Performance and workforce management
  • 3-5 years of core Industrial Relations experience
