The Opportunity

We seek an intern to contribute to building a foundational machine-learning model trained to predict health outcomes from large-scale patient datasets. This project will enhance data-driven clinical trial design and improve patient outcomes. By leveraging longitudinal healthcare data, we aim to create AI models that serve as "digital twins" of real-world patients, supporting clinical development and decision-making for cardiovascular-metabolic-renal diseases.
This internship provides a unique opportunity to work on state-of-the-art artificial intelligence models while contributing to advancing AI in healthcare. Join us in shaping the future and driving change from within.

Who You Are

You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor’s / Master’s / PhD (Master or PhD students preferred), preferably in the field of computer science, data science, mathematics, or artificial intelligence, within the last 12 months, and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months and getting to know the pharmaceutical industry.

Furthermore you have

• Strong background in computer science and machine learning (required).

• Solid understanding of deep learning/artificial intelligence methods, especially transformers (required).

• Excellent programming skills in Python and familiarity with machine learning libraries such as PyTorch (required).

• Experience in working with biological or healthcare data (preferred).

• Effective communication and teamwork skills (required).
