About the Role
As an IP Paralegal you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our global IP portfolio. The IP Paralegal will be involved in clearance, registration, prosecution, opposition work and other advanced aspects of Intellectual Property practice. Main focus would be on Trademark and Designs. You will work globally and in close cooperation with our innovation teams. As IP Paralegal, you report to the IP Director.

What You Will Do
Coordinate and manage trademark, design, copyright and domain name applications and related activities worldwide.
Maintain application, registration and portfolio management database and files, including data entry, docket review and preparation of reports for attorneys and internal stakeholders.
Conduct on-line preliminary clearance searches and review and analyze comprehensive clearance reports.
Prepare drafts of correspondence and documents responding to agencies and offices relating to application and registration filings.
Compile and prepare evidence in support of pending opposition/cancellation proceedings including advertisements, invoices, declarations, affidavits, etc.
Assist with litigation, licensing matters and investigations of third party use of marks.
Who You Are
Key Competencies
Legal degree with IP certification or equivalent degree, and/or 3-5 years’ paralegal experience within an IP department or in a law firm.
Proficient in case management systems, search databases, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet; ability to learn other applications/databases.
Excellent language skills in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of other languages is a merit.
