IP Application Engineer

As an Alphawave Semi IP Application Engineer, you are responsible for working in the post-silicon application team to bring-up IPs on SoCs designed by customers. In this role, you will interact with the customers and support their integration/validation.  

What You’ll Do: 

• Be part of IPG team to work closely with Post-Silicon Validation and Firmware teams to bring-up Alphawave IPs on customer platforms. You will also be involved in the post-silicon bring-up of our in-house test chips.
• Drive technical communication to customers from silicon bring-up to production.
• Collaborate with architects, hardware designers, validation and software teams to define and implement robust solutions.
• Work on system-level debugging, interacting with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, BERTs, protocol analyzers) to analyze PHY performance.
• Occasional travel may be required. 
• You will be reporting to the Senior Director of Application Engineering.  

What You’ll Need: 

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering. 
• Solid debugging skills, including use of JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers for firmware and API bring-up.
• Experience with C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience in Python as a scripting language for test automation and debugging.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fast-paced development environment.
• Experience working in IP bringup in one of the interfaces like USB, PCIe, Serdes, and UCIe
