IP Application Engineer (Post Silicon)

What You Will Do:

• You will provide first-line customer-facing post-sales support for Ethernet/PCIe controller/serdes IPs.

• Work with R&D and provide updates to PM.

• Provide remote and onsite post-sales silicon bring up support to customers worldwide.

• Develop APIs and ATE vectors and Work with our teams to resolve customer issues.

• You will report to VP of sales.

These tasks may include the following integration and support services

• Verilog model integration and simulation (Pre-Silicon)

• GDS Physical Integration and Floor planning (Pre-Silicon)

• Design for Test Integration (Pre-Silicon)

• SerDes EVB and system testing (Pre-Silicon)

• ATE testing (Post-Silicon)

• Product Bring Up and Validation (Post-Silicon)

• Product Characterization and Qualification (Post-Silicon)

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MSEE with 7+ years of experience in IP/Library Design/Support (standard cells, memories, I/O's, Analog Blocks, etc.)/Application Engineering.

• Experience with Front-end or Back-end (Including HSPICE) tools from Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor.

• Experience in analog/mixed signal designs and DDRX PHYs/SerDes.

• Experience with IP design, ASIC Design Flow, and integration related issues.

• Proficient in writing scripts for automation.

• Prior experience in customer facing roles.

It'd Be Amazing If You Had:

• Experience with PCIe and Ethernet Serdes

• Experience with industry standard simulators, timing analysis, firmware, hardware debug.

• Experience creating API-C test cases/DPI-C functions for configuring registers.

• Experience working with lab equipment such as BERT, real-time scopes, sampling scopes, VNA, and protocol analyzers.

• Experience with lab automation software such as Python and Labview.

• Experience with one or more: firmware, low-level programming, optimizing embedded C code, hardware debug.

• Experience with Jira, Agile/Scrum, Confluence.

• Knowledge of EDA tools, understanding of simulators.
