About the Role:

The primary purpose of the iOS Developer role at Mindvalley is to contribute to the development of an ecosystem of apps aimed at dominating the personal growth market. This role involves working closely with UX designers and product managers to create impactful products, ensuring performance and quality, and participating in all phases of the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be a pivotal part of a team dedicated to pushing humanity forward by reforming global education through technology.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with UX designers and product managers to define, design, and deploy new features and applications.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct performance bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Engage in continuous learning and sharing of knowledge within the team.
  • Contribute to code architecture, product features, and visual design to enhance user experience.
  • Maintain high standards for code quality, organisation, and automation.


Skills:

  • Proficient in Swift and familiar with XCode.
  • Mastery of Storyboards and auto layouts for UI design.
  • Understanding of JSON and XML for data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with RESTful web services and GraphQL.
  • Experience with MVVM and other design patterns.
  • Ability to manipulate audio and video in iOS apps.
  • Excellent logic and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of working collaboratively within a diverse team.


Experience: 

  • Mid to Senior level experience in iOS development, with a strong portfolio of apps published on the App Store.
  • Proficiency in Swift, with a deep understanding of XCode, Storyboards, and Auto Layout for UI design.
  • Demonstrated experience with JSON, XML, RESTful web services, and familiarity with GraphQL.
  • Solid understanding and application of MVVM and other design patterns in iOS development.
  • Proven ability in manipulating audio and video within iOS apps.
  • Previous work showcasing a pixel-perfect approach to app development, with an emphasis on clean, organised, and efficient code.
  • Passion for personal development, with a keen interest in Mindvalley's mission to push humanity forward through educational reform.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse team environment.
  • Eager to learn, share knowledge, and contribute beyond just coding—participating actively in the product development process from conception to deployment.
