Here at Gabb, we are passionate about creating safe tech for kids. However, we are equally as passionate about empowering parents while they parent in this digital age. The Gabb Family team is innovating a new, central, revamped application where parents can manage their account, their children’s devices, and be the portal to all things Gabb.
As an on the Gabb Family team, you will work with them to rewrite and improve features from the old app, as well as build entirely new features and functionality. As the ideal candidate, you should be passionate about building reliable, intuitive, and beautiful experiences for end users.
- Architect, build, test, and refine Gabb’s native Gabb Family iOS app
- Collaborate with our product management, design, and mobile product engineering teams to understand technical and customer pain points, come up with solutions, and then prototype, iterate, and launch
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Participate in Architecture meetings to help ensure our apps meet the highest quality standards
- Implement unit tests to ensure the quality of code and software
- Creates application specifications and other documentation to support the design and development if needed
- Keep up with industry best practices of iOS development
- 2-4 years of experience in iOS development
- 1+ year(s) of experience using SwiftUI
- Proficient in Swift and iOS SDK
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Experience in iOS development platforms and app development.
- Effectively translate Product, UX, and UI requirements into code implementation.
- Ability to evaluate and communicate engineering solutions and trade-offs to teammates and other, potentially non-technical teams.
