About the Role
We're looking for an experienced iOS Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality native iOS applications. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver polished, performant experiences for our iOS users.
Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable Swift code following best practices
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the app
- Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve app stability
- Integrate with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party SDKs
- Work with Xcode, CocoaPods/Swift Package Manager, and Apple's build/release tools
- Implement and maintain UI using UIKit and/or SwiftUI
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Manage app store submission, versioning, and release processes
- Stay current with new iOS releases, Apple frameworks, and industry trends
- Collaborate with QA to ensure timely, high-quality releases
Requirements
- 3–6 years of professional experience building native iOS applications
- Strong proficiency in Swift; working knowledge of Objective-C is a plus
- Solid experience with UIKit; experience with SwiftUI preferred
- Strong understanding of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines
- Experience with iOS app architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, VIPER, Clean Architecture)
- Experience with Core Data, Realm, or SQLite for local persistence
- Familiarity with Combine or RxSwift for reactive programming
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and networking (URLSession, Alamofire)
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Experience with CI/CD tools for iOS (Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, Bitrise, etc.)
- Understanding of memory management, threading (GCD), and performance optimization
- Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the App Store
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Nice to Have
- Experience with push notifications, deep linking, and background app refresh
- Familiarity with unit/UI testing frameworks (XCTest, XCUITest)
- Experience with Firebase, CloudKit, or other backend-as-a-service platforms
- Knowledge of App Store Connect, TestFlight, and release management
- Experience with accessibility (VoiceOver) and localization
- Understanding of mobile security best practices (Keychain, encryption)
- Exposure to modularization or multi-module app architecture
